Penshurst wind farm

The information below comes from the proponent:

RES is developing a wind farm on rural land which is located approximately 3km south-west of the township of Penshurst in Victoria.

The wind farm is situated within the Southern Grampians Shire and Moyne Shire Council boundaries.

The site is on private land which is currently grazed. Approximately 1-2% of the overall site area will be used for the wind farm infrastructure.

RES is now in the process of completing the required environmental assessments for the project and intends to submit the planning permit application for the proposed Wind Farm and associated infrastructure in early 2011.
