Renewable energy in Victoria

This section will contain updates on the status of all existing and proposed renewable energy and geothermal projects in the state.

The renewable energy industry in Victoria is currently growing at a considerable pace, largely because of substantial support from both the state and federal governments. The main areas of development at present are within wind, geothermal and solar energy sources.

Details on state government support are largely outlined in the Climate Change White Paper, available here (details soon).
